Neuropathology
Welcome to the UCSF Division of Neuropathology. Our large team of neuropathology experts are devoted to the diagnosis of all diseases of the central and peripheral nervous systems. We are one of the largest divisions of neuropathology in the country and have expertise in all areas of neuropathology including tumors, infections and inflammatory processes, neuromuscular disorders, ocular pathology, and neurodegenerative disease. We provide consultation in all diagnostic aspects of neuropathology and are also dedicated to training the next generation of neuropathologists through our NP fellowship program and visiting scholars program. Our division is committed to advancing knowledge in diseases of the nervous system through basic and translational research.
