Career Advising and Mentoring

Career advising and mentoring are available to medical students through the departments of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, via email and/or in person meetings. Dr. Dana Balitzer is a confidential advisor; she does not serve on the residency admissions committee and is available to answer questions about curriculum planning, career planning, and the residency application process. Dr. Raga Ramachandran is Director of Medical Education and is connected to the residency selection process at UCSF; she serves as a main advisor to those going through the application process.
