The Career Awards for Medical Scientists is a highly competitive program that provides $700,000 awards over five years for physician-scientists, who are committed to an academic career, to bridge advanced postdoctoral/fellowship training and the early years of faculty service. “The talent in this year’s applicant pool was exceptional,” said Dr. Paige Cooper, BWF Program Officer. “BWF continues to be committed to investing in the careers of physician-scientists and we look forward to supporting their clinical research impact.”
