Dr. Aleksander Rajkovic Elected to the National Academic of Medicine (NAM)
Dear all,
I am pleased to announce that Dr. Aleksander Rajkovic in our Department, who also serves as Chief Genomic Officer for UCSF Health and Stuart Lindsay Distinguished Professor in Experimental Pathology, has been elected to the National Academic of Medicine (NAM).
This is a great honor for both Aleks and the Department. The NAM, formerly known as the Institute of Medicine, is considered the highest honorific society in academic medicine in the US and its members include our most accomplished leaders in the advancement of biomedical sciences, health care delivery and public health.
Aleks joins Dr. Abul Abbas, former Chair and Distinguished Professor of Pathology, as the second NAM member in our Department.
