              Research and Clinical Interests
My research is focused on studying how alterations in the patterns and dynamics of regulation of complex signaling networks through site-specific post-translational modifications relate to human disease. For this purpose, we have been using mass spectrometry-based targeted proteomic techniques. The ongoing projects include studies of site-specific phosphorylation within the RAS/MAPK signaling network in KRAS-mutant lung adenocarcinoma, signaling responses to neuronal injury in several animal models of neurodegeneration and repair, and more recently regulation of signaling within injured renal podocytes.
