Clinical Interests: Diagnosis of leukemias, lymphomas, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and plasma cell neoplasms from bone marrow, lymph node, and other tissue biopsies. Particular interest in lymphomas relapses after CAR T-cell therapy. Research Interests: I study how lymphomas and other hematologic neoplasms change after CAR T-cell therapy, including why some large B-cell lymphomas do not respond to treatment. I also work on how specific mutations and translocations relate to morphology and classification in myeloid and plasma cell neoplasms, including IGH::CCND3 myeloma and cohesin-mutated myeloid neoplasms. A third area is the use of digital image analysis and AI to make quantitative tasks in hematopathology more reproducible across pathologists and institutions.
