Chemistry Routine tests (sweat chloride must be scheduled) Core tests (urea nitrogen, creatinine, Na, K, Cl, CO2, albumin, alkaline phosphatase, ALT, amylase, AST, bilirubin [total and direct], calcium, chloride, cholesterol, CK, GGT, glucose, HCG for pregnancy, LD, Mg, phosphorus, protein [total], triglycerides, uric acid) plus tests listed below this table 

All evenings: Core tests

Emergencies only
Hematology All routine and stat tests

Many labor-intensive tests, e.g., Bleeding time, Bone marrow aspiration, Platelet aggregation, must be scheduled - see the specific entry in the test table section of this manual
