UCSF Rejection Criteria Unlabeled tubes, QNS, clotted samples, samples received in Lithium-heparin (Lt. Green top) tubes.
Processing notes Refrigerate samples DO NOT CENTRIFUGE OR FREEZE. Transport asap to China Basin Cytogenetics

Stability Room temperature 4 days, refrigerated 2 weeks.
Turn around times 2-3 days
Additional information DNA will be held for 6 months. If no testing is ordered within that time frame, the DNA will be discarded.
