Sunquest Central Hardware Support:

Normally, calls for Sunquest hardware support are made by the LIS group, but in an emergency, here are the contact numbers for hardware service for the IBM Servers

LIS Peripheral Equipment Support:

Certain peripheral equipment is covered by maintenance contracts. Recently purchased equipment may still be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Dell PC's: PC software support is provided by the LIS group. There are a few PC's in the Clinical Labs that are supported by IT. Some PC equipment is covered only under warranty. Newer PC's are usually covered under the initial contract or warranty that was purchased or came with the PC, but these vary. Check with LIS to determine if a failed PC is under contract
HP PC's No longer under warranty/contract. Usually replaced with a new PC if they fail.
Okidata printers not covered. Usually replaced with a new printer when they fail.
Bar-Code (label printers): Intermec 3400 (the big blue printers, except that the newest ones are now white) - under contract: Intermec Support;(800)755-5505

Bar-Code "Blasters" (small ones) - are not covered under maintenance.
