Residents in both the single certification program as well as the combined AP/CP program receive a total of 4 months of elective time, divided into two separate two month rotation blocks. A wide variety of electives in both Clinical Pathology and Anatomic Pathology are available. Electives in Clinical Pathology include but are not limited to Hematopathology, Molecular Pathology, Diagnostic Virology, Academic Hematology, Laboratory Management, Toxicology, Blood Banking, Flow Cytometry and Research. There are opportunities available for away rotations as well.
