The Department of Anatomic Pathology and the Division of Transplant Surgery offer a one-to-two-year fellowship in abdominal solid-organ transplantation (liver, kidney, pancreas, and small bowel) that will primarily involve clinical research in transplant pathology-related projects, as well as provide training in diagnosis of transplant pathology under the guidance of experienced transplant pathologists and surgeons. Additional exposure to basic and transplant immunology research in the UCSF immunology program is optional.

Requirements

2 years anatomic pathology minimum (3 years preferred), or Board eligibility/certification in AP/CP.
