Research and Clinical Interests

The Research Morphology Core Facility provides histology, immunohistochemical and ultrastructure support for many projects throughout the medical center, and Dr. Ursell serves as consultant in many of these investigations. Special interests include the structural basis for cardiac arrhythmias, modification of the cardiac conduction axis, and structural aspects of cardiovascular development and congenital heart disease.
